But how do you find the right one for you?

There are two important commitments any affiliate marketer has to make that are most important. Including you and me!

1. Committing to a process.
In the past, this usually always meant for you to commit to making a certain number of calls per day. Yuck, right?

However, the law of averages would allow you to see a certain result or number of sales that you can count on each week, month, or year if you did that consistently.

Today, with the power of social media, our process can be much different and much simpler. Our process can simply be to create a certain number of targeted posts each day, reach out to a certain number of people via messaging, or simply running a certain ad each day. We don’t have to rely on being a phone salesman. Thank the maker!

2. Treat it like your own brick-and-mortar, 9-to-5 business. 
Most people join an affiliate program with high hopes, but they don’t actually treat it like a business. An affiliate product is a product. Treat it like your own!

– Set your own schedule. Obviously you don’t have to work 8 hours a day, but if you’re out of work, why not? It’s now your business. Commit as much time to it as you can.

– Go to work. Once you have your schedule, stick to it! Make sure you show up and get people in the door of your new business!

The law of averages certainly still applies today, but just done in a different way and you have the power to reach more people than ever before.

This makes affiliate marketing and working from home easier today than it ever has been! Practically anyone can do it. The big question is: which company is right for you.

• Is the commission plan fair? (No “moving goalposts” allowed).

• Is the product actually helpful and provide value? (If I wouldn’t recommend it to my mom, I won’t recommend it to you. Okay, maybe my mom isn’t a great example here. Haha).

• Is it sustainable? (We’re building empires here, not flash-in-the-pan schemes).

• Is it a good company with integrity? Does it have a good reputation, treat people right, & trustworthy?
